M.A Public Administration

A Public Administration degree focuses student learning on areas that relate to management, especially those careers that fall under the realm of public service, government, education and the industries.

In order to progress in many public service careers, it is necessary to develop leadership and management skills.  It is the degree of choice for people who want to advance their careers in public management, policy-making, and the non-profit sector.  This course is especially aimed at those who want to pursue management positions within these sectors and the degree focuses on leadership roles like creating policy and managing public funds as well as managing people.

M.A Public Administration programme paves way for solid understanding of administrative skills, information of government workings and organizational capability.  After completing the PG degree, job opportunities are available in the academic field and also future research in policy areas of the government at the national and international levels.  Also, there are job openings in national, state and local government bodies, public service organizations, for example, healthcare agencies and other non-profit organizations.  Experts with doctorate degree can participate in industrial sector, administrative management sector, legal sector, faculty administration sector and social administration areas also.

A Candidate must have passed the 3 years degree course (any degree) recognized by the University.
