NIRF
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was launched by Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India on 29th September 2015. NIRF is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India. It outlines a methodology to rank academic institutions across the country on a range of parameters drawn from the overall recommendations by a core committee set up by the ministry. The parameters are (a) Teaching, Learning and Resources (b) Research and Professional Practices (c) Graduation Outcomes (d) Outreach and Inclusivity and (e) Perception. Based on the parameters assessment will be conducted and ranking is done by MoE.
Anna Adarsh College for Women has been actively participating in the National Institution Ranking Framework from the academic year 2018. The college NIRF ranking was 95 in 2018, 90 in 2019 and 100 -150 band consecutively in 2020, 2021 and 2022.The college uploads all the information in NIRF web portal and the NIRF report document is displayed in college website for public perception and transparency.
